Morrison Water Services partners with Netmore to deliver Yorkshire Water Smart Metering Programme

We are delighted to announce that we have been successful in becoming the installation, maintenance, and meter reading partner for Netmore, which has won a five-year contract with Yorkshire Water to deliver its smart metering programme.
Extending our 25-year partnership with Yorkshire Water, this programme will see our teams work to exchange 1.3m existing water meters with smart meters, to improve service, enhance customer support and reduce leakage.
As well as improving leakage detection, smart meters help to provide accurate billing and enable Yorkshire Water to have a better understanding of water demand patterns to target water efficiency activity.
The meter exchange is set to begin in 2025, subject to Ofwat’s final determination, which is due in December 2024.We are looking forward to working with Netmore to deliver this programme to Yorkshire Water’s 5.7 million customers.
