Morrison Water Services supports public information event for residents of Stewarton

Morrison Water Services, as part of the Caledonia Water Alliance (CWA), recently attended a public information event in Stewarton, Scotland, to give an update on planned works in the area to the local community.
Scott Muir,CWA Project Manager and Paul Milligan,CWA Communications,represented CWA and Scottish Water to provide information for the upcoming projects to help alleviate flooding and improve the Annick Water environment, which is part of the wider Improving Urban Waste Water program.
Paul Milligan, CWA Communication Manager said, “Further to the success of the first event held in February 2024, this second event allowed the community to find out how we had developed up designs further and also find out key dates of proposed road closures in 2025”.
Scott Muir, CWA Project Manager said: “The event went very well with many customers that attended talking about flooding issues that have been going on for over 15 years."
The Urban Waste Water program aims to support the transformation of Scotland’s waste water systems to deliver environmental benefits. The program includes initiatives to improve water quality, reduce sewage-related debris, and reduce overflows.
