Morrison Water Services’ Anthony Binns has been chosen to be the face of RNLI’s Christmas appeal.

The Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI) is a charity registered in England and Wales that provides 24-hour rescue services in the UK and Ireland. RNLI crews and lifeguards have saved over 142,700 lives and influence, supervise and educate people on the risks at sea as well as sharing safety knowledge.
Morrison Water Services’ Anthony Binns has been chosen to be the face of RNLI’s Christmas appeal. Here is what he had to say:
“I joined the RNLI when I was 17 with a love for the sea including surfing, fishing and going out in boats since I was 12. I have had some really good times with the crew but my biggest hurdle was looking for a friend, who fell of the back of his broken down fishing boat and had not been found for 3 weeks. Shortly after, myself and the team saved a pregnant lady and her young daughter which always fills me with so much joy. My 17-year-old son has also just joined the RNLI and we love volunteering for this amazing cause and helping as many people as we can. You just never know when your pager is going to go off”
