Lawrence rejoined Morrison Utility Services in 2017 as a Contract Director and was appointed Executive Director in January 2020. Lawrence has worked in the construction industry for over 30 years with the majority of those spent in the water sector. He has a post graduate Diploma in Management Studies and is a Chartered Civil Engineering Surveyor.

Maria joined M Group Services in October 2020 as HR and Project Consultant to deliver key mergers and acquisition activities for Group and our Transport, Telecom and Energy Divisions.

In January 2023, she was appointed HR Director for the Water Division, where she brings over 25 years UK and Global HR and change transformation experience gained across a broad range of industries (Utilities, Transport, Retail, Real Estate and Professional Services) which she will draw upon to deliver an exciting people agenda and contribute to key business transformation programmes.

David joined Morrison Utility Services in 2011 and was appointed as Executive Director for Morrison Water Services, Scotland, in 2021. His key responsibilities are safe delivery of the diverse portfolio in Scotland and ensuring the continued growth and development of the business in the region. David has over 32 years’ experience in all aspects of the water industry and a degree in Civil Engineering.

Tim joined Morrison Utility Services in March 2009 having previously worked for a number of the UK's leading and largest utility service providers and now is Business Development Director for Morrison Water Services following the M Group Services restructure in April 2021. He is responsible for business development and a broad range of associated activities for MWS, while also having an active role engaging Water Division sister companies where they can add value to clients. Tim has a BSc degree in civil engineering, Diploma in Marketing and significant experience in water & wastewater bid activity, marketing and associated functions, he has a particular interest in customer service and innovation.

James is the Finance Director for the Water Division which includes Morrison Water Services. With a background in commercial and contractual finance, he has amassed over 10 years of experience. James aims to develop a strong finance team that is seen as core to helping MWS organically grow its bottom line and margins. Away from the business, James is married with 2 young children, spending any spare time playing or watching an array of sports.

Steve joined Morrison Utility Services as the Group SHEQ Manager in 2016.  He took post as the Head of SHEQ for the Morrison Water Services business in 2020 and is now the SHEQ Director for the Water Division.  Steve has been involved in construction and utilities for over 40 years and brings over 15 years’ experience as a SHEQ professional. Steve is absolutely passionate about ensuring the health, safety and wellbeing for all of the employees and our contractors is the number one priority across the Water Division.

Peter joined M Group Services in Spring 2023 as the Water Division Commercial Director bringing over 35 years commercial experience in the construction industry.

Peter is an enthusiastic, tenacious and passionate leader. He likes to maximise results by practicing relationship building from clients, to supply chain, to people. He believes behavioural management is key to successful business practice and actively puts this into practice day to day.

Lee has worked within client, contractor, and consultant organisations.

Steve joined Morrison Utility Services in 2018 as JV Director for Agility Alliance before being appointed as Area Director for Morrison Water Services in May 2023. Prior to joining MWS, Steve worked as a Director in the Facilities Management sector undertaking Commercial, Sales and General Management roles. Steve is a Chartered Quantity Surveyor and spent the earlier part of his career in mainstream construction.

Kevin joined Morrison Water Services in 2019 as Contract Director and became Area Director in 2022.

Kevin has been in the construction and engineering industry for over 30 years and has worked in telecoms, rail, highways but predominantly water in both the infra and non infra environments. He has a Masters Degree in Construction Project Management and is passionate about people and the environment.

David Tann

David joined Morrison Water Services in 2004, undertaking roles as a Construction Manager, Operations Manager, Contract Director, and Area Director.

David has over 42 years of experience in the water industry managing projects, programmes, and portfolios of work. He has extensive experience in both clean and wastewater infrastructure work including capital delivery; trunk and distribution mains replacement; repairs & maintenance; Smart Metering and Developer Services.

His current portfolio includes:

  • Setting up and managing the industry-leading Thames Water (TW) smart metering programme and successfully installing over 1.1M smart meters.
  • Securing both the TW Developer Services (DS) Mains and Services work for all of London and DS Major Projects work.

Day-to-day responsibilities include health, safety, environmental and wellbeing, planning, compliance, commercial, performance reporting, end-to-end operational delivery, and stakeholder management.
