1st April 2021
M Group Services (‘the Group’), a leading provider of services to essential infrastructure markets in the UK, with a turnover of over £1.3bn, announces the creation of its Water Division containing the newly launched Morrison Water Services.
The launch of Morrison Water Services follows the transition of Morrison Utility Services into two new entities, Morrison Energy Services and Morrison Water Services, which took effect from 01 April 2021.
Morrison Water Services has been established as a dedicated water infrastructure services business delivering a broad portfolio of services to UK water sector clients, with Morrison Energy Services formed to deliver essential infrastructure services as part of the Group’s Energy division. The creation of Morrison Water Services will provide the platform for further, long-term and sustainable growth in the UK water sector.
Morrison Water Services’ technical capability is extensive, from the maintenance of existing distribution networks to an increasing number of complex capital projects. These services are delivered thanks to the expertise of its teams in customer focused solution development and turnkey delivery including civil, mechanical, electrical, instrumentation, control, automation and telemetry services. Over recent years, the business has also grown its wastewater capability, securing a number of long-term water and wastewater frameworks.
John Edwards, Managing Director of the Water Division and Morrison Water Services, commented: “Morrison Water Services will continue to deploy, develop and invest in innovative solutions that will help our clients to achieve their operational efficiency targets and ensure that capital delivery solutions are aligned to meet asset resilience, customer service and net zero carbon objectives.
“We have structured the new business to deliver its services in the most effective way, using emerging technical, digital and data-driven solutions to target leakage, eliminate supply interruptions, support flood reduction, and mitigate pollution incidents. This is an exciting chapter in our growth and we welcome the broader engineering opportunities that are already emerging to support our clients’ capital and operational investment needs, whilst achieving high levels of stakeholder and customer satisfaction.”
