Morrison Water Services nominated at the Water Industry Awards 2024

We are thrilled to announce that we have been nominated for five awards at this year’s Water Industry Awards 2024.

Awards will take place on 4 July 2024 at The Vox, Birmingham, to celebrate the very best practices from across the water sector.

We are thrilled to have several of our entries shortlisted in partnership with our clients. Three of our nominations are with our client, Yorkshire Water, alongside our partner, Hydraulic Analysis Group, for our digital twin, VariSim Delta.

Working with Yorkshire Water, VariSim Delta has enabled us to provide solutions for leakage reduction, extend asset life, improve water quality, and keep customers in supply across the region.

Nominated for the Asset Management Initiative of the Year Award is Caledonia Water Alliance, a joint venture between Morrison Water Services and AECOM for the creation of its Asset Management Strategy.

The asset management integration process focuses on improving asset data, enhancing the accuracy of existing asset location and attributes, and facilitating seamless asset data sharing between our delivery team and Scottish Water.

By connecting system integration between our delivery team and Scottish Water's asset system, we have established a seamless data exchange system, ensuring real-time access to accurate information.

Our final nomination is for the Diversity & Inclusion Initiative of the Year Award, for our Menopause for Men* initiative. Across M Group Services’ Water Division, we have been raising awareness of menopause, through a range of interactive online sessions for colleagues, to learn more about menopause in a male-only environment.

By hosting these sessions, our male colleagues can find out how they can support others experiencing menopause. This has also been effective for line managers to enhance their skillset.
