Morrison Water Services sees success at Anglian Water Supplier Awards 2024

We are proud to announce that we achieved the ‘Partnership Award’ for the Anglian Water Supplier Awards, for our work on Anglian Water’s Enhanced Pressure Monitoring Programme.

The awards, which took place at Rutland Water, recognise the contribution that Anglian Water suppliers make to ensure taps keep flowing, toilets keep flushing and environments keep flourishing, for generations to come.

Delivered by a partnership with our client Anglian Water and other supply chain partners, the Enhanced Pressure Monitoring Programme is a large-scale five-year project to deliver high-resolution monitoring across the entire Anglian Water region.

The programme is playing a crucial role to reduce interruption-to-supply events by determining levels of supply throughout outages and ensuring customers receive a reliable and high-quality supply of water.

It is also monitoring delivery of capital schemes by verifying pre-work and post-work data.

As part of the new partnership, launched in March 2023, Anglian Water’s optimisation team handles planning activities, while our team handles end-to-end construction process for planned loggers, and Hydrosave install the loggers in the newly constructed sites. WRc provide a dedicated commercial project manager, who in liaison with all parties, ensures programme issues are resolved quickly and proactively.

Monthly programme board meetings are held with representatives from all parties to ensure open communication between all, enabling the team to overcome issues identified in point planning.

The partnership has challenged normal ways of working and formed best working practices from a willingness to look outside of the box; maximising collaboration, efficiencies and effectiveness to deliver the programme successfully. This has resulted in an ‘all-in-it-together’ ethos, which focusses on finding ways to achieve successful installations in a safe and efficient manner.

This close collaboration has enabled the partnership to deliver the same number of sites during this year, as the total number of sites achieved during the previous three years.
