We win at Yorkshire Water’s Women in Engineering awards.

We are delighted to announce that Morrison Water Services (MWS) has been honoured at Yorkshire Water’s Women in Engineering awards.

MWS won the Diversity Initiative of the Year award for its Allyship Programme which promotes inclusive environments and a culture where people feel valued.

The programme has been a great success and has generated greater interest in all matters of inclusion and diversity, creating a space where people can actively discuss any points around the subject.

Maria Murray, HR Director for M Group Services’ Water Division, was thrilled to see the programme recognised for its impact. She said: “Winning this award represents some very well-deserved recognition for everyone involved in helping build the Allyship Programme to where it is now. Well done to you all.

“At MWS we want to continue to embrace diversity, promote equal opportunities and strengthen our workforce and this award win builds even more momentum towards those targets.”

Yorkshire Water’s Women in Engineering Awards recognise contributors to the Women in Engineering group and is a showcase of the work the group has achieved.
